Model 20 Concrete Pump

"20" means a theoretical output of 20 m³ per hour. It is a small trailer-type concrete pump, available in electric and diesel versions, mostly used on small and medium sites and for indoor work in confined spaces. It is the mainstream small ground pump for rural house building, secondary structures and floor heating backfill. YG Machine...
Core Technical Parameters (Industry Standard Version)
·Theoretical output: 20 m³/h (generally 12–18 m³ under actual working conditions)
·Power: electric version 22 kW / 30 kW national-standard motor; diesel version commonly uses a 4102 diesel engine
·Maximum pumping pressure: 6–15 MPa
·Conveying distance: vertical 40–50 m, horizontal 80–120 m
·Conveyable aggregate: maximum stone particle size 20–25 mm (fine aggregate concrete and mortar preferred)
·Delivery pipeline: DN80 / DN100
·Overall weight: about 900–2600 kg (the simple secondary-structure version is light, the standard trailer version is heavier)
·Distribution valve: S valve, twin-cylinder hydraulic piston pumping, with air / water cooling and centralized lubrication
Working Principle
The electric motor / diesel engine drives the hydraulic system, which pushes the main oil cylinder to move the concrete pistons; together with the S valve it alternately sucks and discharges material, conveying the concrete continuously through the pipeline to the pouring point. With PLC electric control, it supports wired / wireless remote start-stop and reversing.
Applicable Project Scenarios
1. Rural self-built houses and main structure pouring of small buildings, ring beams and structural columns (secondary-structure pouring; many Model 20 units on the market are secondary-structure fine aggregate pumps)
2. Floor heating backfill, floor fine aggregate concrete and cement mortar conveying
3. Basements, tunnels, diversion tunnels, small slope protection and foundation pit blinding
4. Confined spaces and sites not covered by the tower crane, where large pump trucks cannot enter
Main Advantages
1. Compact size with wheels for convenient relocation; can be moved in indoor corridors and small yards;
2. The electric version has low running cost and low noise; the diesel version works without a power grid;
3. Compared with manual feeding, it saves a large amount of labor and pours faster;
4. Flexible pipeline layout, able to climb floors and pass through walls for long-distance material delivery;
5. Easy to maintain, with strong parts commonality and simple repair.
Limitations
1. Pumping pressure is not high, not suitable for high-rise or ultra-long-distance large-aggregate pumping;
2. Only fine aggregate / small stone concrete; large stones easily cause blockages;
3. Capacity for continuous long high-intensity operation is not as good as the Model 40/60 large ground pumps;
4. There are requirements on concrete slump; if the mix is too dry, blockages occur very easily.
Configuration options (key purchasing points)
·Simple version (secondary-structure Model 20 pump): light weight, mainly for structural columns and mortar, with a relatively small output;
·Standard trailer HBT20: frame trailer structure, towable, can pump fine aggregate and ordinary small-aggregate concrete, with higher pressure;
·Power selection: choose the electric version if the site has power; choose the diesel version for field and mountain areas without a power grid.
